Re Salvation Switched Off, Kevin Libin, March 22. I am very much for the right for any religious minister to be allowed to street-preach. It is wrong for city. officials in Calgary to limit Artur Pawlowski’s free speech in refusing to renew his permit to preach in Triangle Park unless he gives up his amplifier.

 

My local church (Jarvis Street Bap-tist in Toronto) has an open air min¬istry. We also have to get a permit from the city to preach in Toronto’s Allan Gardens and are not allowed to use an amplifier.

 

Allan Gardens is also used by other community groups who set up tents and tides for the children.
