INSPIRING QUOTES

“In life the turn coat (traitor) is never trustworthy by either side. The one that he betrayed will hate him and the other that benefited from his treachery will fear him. After all what is going to stop the “turn coat” from betraying him as well.”

Street Church volunteers, four times a week are serving hot meals to the homeless and the poor people on the street of Calgary.

Every time the church comes there are grilled burgers, sausages, chicken and other meats including our famous Monty’s soup and our one and only “you have not really fully lived until you have tried” chilly. Yet from time to time we want to make it a little bit more special for them. Christmas season is a perfect occasion for such a celebration. This sunday we will have presents and AAA Alberta steaks for every one that comes. We will also have Gospel Elvis singing Gospel songs and most importantly we will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We all know that Jesus was not born during this specific season, but we can use his time as a great opportunity to let everyone know that He not only came, but He also died and rose again. Everyone that will repent and believe in Him will have everlasting life.

Please come, we will pray for everyone that needs healing in his body, soul or mind. Jesus is the answer for every need the we might have. Jesus is also the “reason for the season” please do not forget that.

If you would like to donate something for the poor, please let us know.

Bless you

Artur Pawlowski

"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'…Matthew 25:34-36

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Street Church Ministries is a multi-denominational, multi-ethnical ministry of believers, who have been reborn in the spirit of the Lord, coming together to take part in the call of Acts 1:8. Our vision is to give everyone an opportunity to respond to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the proclamation of the full Gospel. We envision a Street Church in every city and town in Canada, and around the world.

Street Church Ministries is involved in evangelism every week in the city of Calgary where we go out by the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the full gospel, giving everyone the opportunity to respond to Jesus. We know that there is power in the simple message of the gospel.

Street Church meetings:

Monday Outreach 6pm in front of Calgary's City Hall.

Wednesday lunch church service 11am in front of Calgary's City Hall.

Friday Night Evangelism 6pm in front of Calgary's City Hall.

Vigil at Central Memorial Park in Calgary PDF Print E-mail
Written by News
Thursday, 30 October 2014 16:38

In the light of the recent events, terrorist attacks in Canada, Calgary has organized its own vigil for the fallen soldiers. The event was organized by Merle Terlesky at the Central Memorial Park in honour of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrent Officer Patrice Vincent who were both killed while unarmed in targeted attacks within a single week.

The vigil began by a prayer done by a well known preacher, Artur Pawlowski. The minister thanked God for the soldiers that serve and protect our country and all of us. He asked God for comfort to the families of the fallen soldiers and thanked those gathered for their compassion and for their heart: "May God bless those who daily risk and sacrifice their lives in the line of duty and may He protect them all, in Jesus name" he concluded.

The prayer was followed by a minute of silence and the singing of the national anthem. Member of Parliament Joan Crokatt then addressed the crowd saying "This is Canada, strong and free, land of the brave, they were the brave who stood for us." she said. Senator-in-waiting Mike Shaikh spoke and then Member of Parliament Rob Anders addressed the crowd talking about arming soldiers who are off-duty to better protect us. He said: "If we trust them enough to send them to war we should trust them to also carry side arms when they are of duty so they can protect us at all times".

The vigil ended with an assurance from Riazuddin Ahmed of the Islamic Association of Calgary Northwest "As canadians we are all grieved by what had happened and we all have to make sure that this will not happen again".

About 150 people came to give their respects to the fallen soldiers during the rally at Central Memorial Park in Calgary, Alta., on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014.

Of course the mainstream media manipulated the story to suit their own propaganda. They purposely opted from the story, both Member of Parliament Rob Anders and minister Artur Pawlowski well known advocates against abortion and homosexuality.

Here are the pictures of what really happened.
